1/2 propanol 4:17
1/2 propanol 6:14
1/2 propanol 8:55pm
1/2 propanol 10pm
Sleep at 10:50, worried, eyes hurting, swallowing still bothering him. Loose stool at one point. Took Jeff and I to get him to sleep with music and calm story but no panic attack. Nightmares. Swallowing excessive saliva all through sleep all night long until the morning.

Wednesday Dec 23rd
1/2 propanol 8:40 am
1/4 Lexapro 8:40 am
At 11am, not panicky and didn't need more propanol he said. But he can't swallow food through tight throat. Had some smoothie for breakfast. Wants to keep head in iPod video games and constantly chew gum to control excessive saliva.
1/2 propanol 1:10pm still can't swallow food. Had a bit of a smoothie for lunch. But happy and not chewing gum for saliva.
1/2 propanol, 4:50 pm he said he was thinking bad thoughts so he knew he needed it again.
1/2 propanol 6:30 pm...difficulty swallowing but ate some soup and a soft roll for dinner. Played video games with friend all day.
1/2 propanol 9:49 and a melatonin. Asked for the propanol so gave it. Amped and worried about going to bed and nightmares.
Didn't go to sleep till midnight, wired and tired, said he felt like he was full of caffeine and having trouble with throat and breathing ( due to anxiety ) from feeling so wired. Thrashed about and moaned for hours. Called the on call Dr and he said stick it out and don't give more propanol. There was nothing to give to help.
Slept well all night. No bad dreams. First day with no saliva.

Thursday Dec 24th
1/2 propanol 7:20 am (asked for it, feeling panicky)
1/4 Lexapro 7:20 am
At 1:30 he didn't ask for more Propanol yet and ate soup and bread but was having trouble swallowing. He was doing well after playing soccer with Jeff.
1/2 propanol 6:00 pm, asked for it, can't swallow again. A few sips of soup and a bite of roll for dinner.

Dec 25th
1/4 Lexapro and no Propranolol
10:40am 1/2 Propranolol
woke up depressed
Couldn't eat Christmas dinner. Had to go home at 2pm exhausted
8:51 is going to try to go to bed without propranolol. We are going to use the nebulizer with steam to slow and calm breathing and open up his throat.  He is happy about soccer tomorrow
Wouldn't use it. Said he hates the noise it makes and he needed to go to bed feeling accomplished not the opposite.
10pm depressed now. Angry and not being able to enjoy Christmas. Beaten down by the anxiety and sadness and exhaustion of it. Jeff is sitting with him, hopefully he will fall asleep.  Finally after being very angry and depressed he fell asleep at 10:30 pm while I patted his back.

12/26 woke up very depressed and upset with how awful he felt. Gave him 1/2 propanol and 1/4 Lexapro.
2:45 1/2 propanol, buzzing. Ok with friends but very buzzing. Won't be ok when friend leaves in my opinion .  Thinking that we should stop he Lexapro since morning depression started with Lexapro.
He says he controlled bad thoughts with propanol and wants to keep trying the Lexapro. Today only ate a few smoothies, soup and a muffin.

Spring Break 2017 Update

4ml Prozac, 500mg Zithromax 3x a week, 1.5 mg melatonin, less than a quarter of Clonidine Ewen is doing well. Right now he is vacuuming and mopping the whole house (all 850 square fee lol) To earn an hour of screen time playing Overwatch. We have had a few hiccups. He got in major trouble in school for hacking into the computer and writing silly things on a class web page. He said he didn't realize he would get a referral and get in so much trouble since he wasn't hurting anyone and would never bully. He also dropped his grades because he was too busy having fun with his friends. So Mike and I had a meeting with his teachers. He now has a 504 plan since he has had lots of absences.  We are paying close attention so that we can make sure he completes his assignments. Last month he was having trouble with tics (mostly huffing) and anxiety and so his pediatrician put his Zithromax up to 500 mg every day for a full week. That completely helped and was amazing to get him back

The Chair of the Pediatric ER Wrote Back!!!!!

Ms. ....... Thank you very much for bringing your son’s case and experience to our attention. First of all, I hope that Owen is still doing much better.
